We saw the doe in the field next door when she dropped her fawn. With camera in hand, we were able to get the photo while the fawn was still wet; you can see the moisture on its back. Mama didn’t return to get her baby until night fell, but by morning the pair were no longer to be seen. What a treasured opportunity!
